For UWA hockey club J5/6, J7/8 & J9/10 players

Bunbury Carnival – Long weekend 5^th to 7^th June 2021

We are planning to participate in the Bunbury Carnival again this year. For many junior players this is the highlight of their hockey season – an opportunity to get away with friends, sleep in the accommodation with teammates and play hockey all weekend. Buses and accommodation have been booked.

We are keen for the players to spend the weekend with their team in the accommodation we have arranged. They will have a fantastic time.

The plan is;

• Travel to Bunbury early Saturday morning 5 June by bus.
• Return mid afternoon Monday 7 June by bus.
• Accommodation at the adjacent Soccer Club and the Scout Hall which is a short bus ride away. We have hired a small 22 seater bus.
• Breakfast and dinner provided each day. Players will just need enough money for lunches and drinks.
• J9/10 players will also need money for a suggested movie night on the Sunday night.

Each team is expected to play about 4 games per day with finals from late morning on the Monday.

All children will be able to be picked up from the UWAHC clubrooms Monday late afternoon.

The cost of the weekend is $180.

We will be providing tour shirts for all players attending the Carnival.

Please register your child below (preferably prior to the 7th May).

If your child has any special dietary requirements please let us know with your registration.

For each team we need the following parent involvement so please register your preference when you register your child.

1. Team Coach
2. Team Umpire
3. Two parents from each team to stay in the accommodation with the children.
4. A couple of parents with a license that enables them to drive the 22 seater bus as required.
